Senior year is finally here. That last year, when your child will leave high school forever and go off to pursue their dreams. Wasn’t it yesterday that you were sending them off on the school bus for the very first time? How the years fly by…

Taking the senior portraits for the high school yearbook is one of my favorite seasons of the year. All the kids are in their prime and they are all gorgeous.

Yearbook senior

Many families tell me that their seniors forgot to get their pictures done at school, or they didn’t like the photographs done by the school’s photographer. I am an ‘approved’ photographer for Montclair High School and I guarantee that the portraits will be accepted by the yearbook.

But, what’s most exciting is that, after I take the official yearbook picture,  I will also photograph the kids in their own clothes outdoors on the street, in a park, or in your backyard. These portraits are so much about their own personality at age 17. These portraits are cherished, even more so than the yearbook portrait. And, there’s no extra cost for capturing the seniors in this natural way.
