Sunday, June 7th, I had the honor of photographing the Montclair Kimberley Academy high school graduation as I do every year. The students drove up with their families in cars, popped out, received their diploma, posed for a picture, and drove off. Despite it being such a strange way to graduate, everything was set up beautifully. In particular I found it quite emotional and moving to see all the senior portraits, that I took earlier in the year, set up on the lawn. There were lots of tears of joy from proud parents, just like any graduation. I’ve had a long relationship with MKA school photographing their yearbook senior photos every year, as well as the graduation, it’s always been special but this was a year to remember!
Congratulations to the graduating seniors!
