ILFORD Photo, the British photographic film company, twice a year awards an Analogue Community Grant. Each year they receive hundreds of applicants from around the globe who submit projects to be considered for Ilford's support. I am pleased to announce that my project, ALTER EGOS*, is one of the five projects shortlisted for this year's 2025 grant. I made more portraits with my vintage Rolleiflex during the St. Patrick's Day parade in West Orange, NJ, showcasing a vibrant and diverse atmosphere. Police officers, National Park Rangers, a Colombian dance troupe, and a marching jazz band each contributed unique elements, highlighting the cultural diversity in a 21st century American suburb.
