President Biden was in Belfast, Northern Ireland on April 12, 2023 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Accords that put an end to the Troubles in Northern Ireland. The Troubles were decades old, a civil war between Catholics and Protestants. The fact that a type of peace was possible in 1998 gives me a little hope that there could be a similar peace someday between Israelis and Palestinians.
