Nestled on Deer Isle, Maine, Nervous Nellie’s Jam & Jellies offers a whimsical blend of an eclectic art project, a quirky junkyard, and a charming store that boasts 15 varieties of homemade jams crafted daily. Once a summer, I return with my vintage Rolleiflex camera to make portraits of visitors enjoying the startling chaos and creativity that surrounds them. I’m currently enjoying a jar of Cherry Peach Conserve, delicious on toast.
